I wonder if they are talking to each other. I just returned from a long walk. Five kids between the ages of 16 and thirty walked by me on the dirt road...spread out and happily walking along. I noticed two out of the first three were talking on cell phones. Then as the stragglers passed, two of them were on cell phones! I couldn't help it, I exclaimed, "Four of you are on cell phones! Holy cow!" and one took the phone off his ear and grinned, "We're talking to each other!" I shut up and smiled.
I'm glad everyone is mellow...starting to research next year's opportunities? Humm...so much to do, so little time! Enjoy the ride! Happy New Year!

I see traces of an "I told you so" smile forming on mom's face at the sight of her two grown granddaughters snuggled on a big comfy sofa in front of the fire in Lincoln on a miserable winter day.
She was so right! Why did it take us so long?

Hello!!!
Finally wi'fied and now home. Driving, driving...now back. Four days driving, four in Cali. All exhausted.
But back safely and inlaws now safely condo-ized.
Now off to 2009.
Definitely product placement and definitely a sign for me that my next computer should be a mac. All the cool people around me seem to have them. Such a fun surprise last night! The California Vermonters wholeheartedly approve of Brody.
