puppy fan club

Judging from the comments I get on this blog, Calley has quite a following. Why bother writing, I'll just post pictures of our intrepid pup in a myriad of settings. She is a great hiker, flying up rock faces without a pause. Really, her feet barely touch the ground.
We went to Mt. Desert Island in Maine this weekend. We climbed some old favorites; Penobscot and Sargent Mountains on the foggy day and Acadia and St. Sauveur when it cleared the next day. The foliage was at its peak. We sure missed Carrie and Eliza (and Niki) who have climbed these mountains with us in years past.

...but you have a wonderful new addition! I'm so happy you guys have little whipper-snapper Calley, even on those tough climbs! What a trooper. LOVE the pictures. You've become quite the peak-bagging threesome! Love.

Barb, Joy is all I feel looking at all these pics. It's such a great "tour" of the experience. Your new pic on my address book will be the snap of you and C at the end.
Listening to Oh, Very Young by Cat Stevens, looking at your blog...now there's a Sunday evening to savour.

mWonderful New England pictures...strong in spirit and energy! A threesome that is truely seizing the day! Calley definitely adds that puppy energy and fun! I love the "What took you so long!"
I see a move northward in your future...a place where mountains abound....or westward? The Pacific Crest Trail is just up the hill from us! Great colors here too at this time of year!

What wonderful pictures or everyone and everything. I love seeing the ones of you human folk, in addition to wonderful Calley and the exquisite scenic views of North New England. It makes me feel not QUITE so far away.
