Love the winter sun in the morning for breakfast. Esp. when it's quiet... and now for the in-between month...January. Janus, looking both ways...back with thoughtfulness and forward w/ hope. Happy New Year.
Whether in person or in photo, your dining room table gives me the ultimate feeling of comfort. My memories extend back to high school (and I'm sure earlier) when the view into the kitchen was much different and all the way to Carrie's wedding. What a warm and familiar scene.

I agree with Sylvia! I can almost see the cardinal in the Rodies outside!
