eating outside

A smoothie in the glass I bought at Townsend Tea on Alberta Street in Portland, Oregon sitting in the courtyard by the barn under newly budding trees. A good breakfast.

yes seasonal allergies, the downside of spring in New England.
My car is covered with yellow pollen from the maple trees.
But rain clears the air. We are waiting for a downpour now. So dry!

Delicious looking! What's the recipe? After our breakfast discussion last week in your blog, I'm always looking for new smoothie ideas. I'm going to try Carrie's next...

As for dry, I can't wait for a climate with precipitation! It rained here last week for probably the last time until October. Now' it's sunshine sunshine sunshine. I can't wait for downpours and thunderstorms again!

Recipe:

Fresh organic kale, frozen raspberries, frozen organic blueberries, a banana and ..... after I poured one for David.... I added some Alden's vanilla ice cream left over from my birthday party and let the Blend Tek do it's thing.
Then I sat back and listened to the robins chirping and distant thunder.
Pure heaven!!!
I'll make one for you on your next visit, Sylvia!

It sounds fabulous! David and Brad can have the healthy combination and we can enjoy the tasty one. What a good idea adding ice cream to the mix-and Alden's at that!
