On a clear day, you can see forever!
Thank you both for the refreshing views!
The fall haze is in the air...

Look at those teenage lovebirds at the top of that mountain! :)

Looking good, guys!

How fun! I'm totally jealous of the views and adventure, but I want to know more about it. How long did you go, how high up did you climb, did you stay in the hut? What a fun looking adventure!

Thanks for your great questions, Sylvia. I was inspired to document the hikes we took which you will see in the next posts. I never thought I could do this kind of hiking, but now I just want to do more and more. I can see why Eliza loves living in the mountains.
I wish I had taken the girls when they were young.

When your little one is old enough, hike to Lonesome Lake, it is such a fun thing to do with children! You have a lot to look forward to!

I can feel the energy flowing in wind and rock and blood and hair...radiant smiles say it all. Next summer? More of the same, I should think...and longer stays. Why not!

Thanks for sharing! You and David look so alive and happy!
