How fun! I'm totally jealous of the views and adventure, but I want to know more about it. How long did you go, how high up did you climb, did you stay in the hut? What a fun looking adventure!
Thanks for your great questions, Sylvia. I was inspired to document the hikes we took which you will see in the next posts. I never thought I could do this kind of hiking, but now I just want to do more and more. I can see why Eliza loves living in the mountains. I wish I had taken the girls when they were young.
When your little one is old enough, hike to Lonesome Lake, it is such a fun thing to do with children! You have a lot to look forward to!
I can feel the energy flowing in wind and rock and blood and hair...radiant smiles say it all. Next summer? More of the same, I should think...and longer stays. Why not!
Thanks for sharing! You and David look so alive and happy!

On a clear day, you can see forever!
Thank you both for the refreshing views!
The fall haze is in the air...
P.S.:
Just saw the "hut"....
Look at those teenage lovebirds at the top of that mountain! :)
Looking good, guys!
